History: Clothes are laggy, take them off!

RBN, or “I'd Rather Be Naked,” started before groups were added to VRChat as Friends+ instances of like-minded adult players—all on green (joinable) status—without any fear of age-related issues. We self-moderated for years without a single incident, because we all only added adults to our friends lists and kept disruptions out while keeping the spice of open lobbies. Adults who can't get along in a shared, good-vibes space were never welcome in our space, and we kept that guiding philosophy going when creating this group. The only flag we wave here is VRChat's.

With VRChat's TOS changes in August 2024 making Group+ lobbies private, combined with accessible VRC-certified age verification, we moved our self-moderation and like-minded Friends+ lobbies into Group+. We shared movies, hosted game worlds like SlashCo, and grew larger every day as our always-green statuses and shared interests attracted the right kind of attention—banning bad apples and blocking cringe along the way.

What we have today is how we feel VRChat used to be—or how it should be: safe, self-moderated, and clique-free, while keeping toxic elements out. It’s all based on judgment calls by true veterans of the scene, not a council arguing over hundreds of hypothetical rules.
